Possible Sequel to Intense Hue and some ideas.

I have some really nice ideas for drawing, but I feel I'm going to have to put all my personal projects on hold until... April or something. I have some commissions to do, some books to read, and work and school to... participate in. Anyway, I just want to write down some ideas for a story-- it's a sequel I think to the "Intense Hue" which I wrote last year. You can see it at DA page, I can't be bothered posting the link.

"I would've been outside, by now"

I heard the cold dark voice over the phone. "She's here", it said, "But she wants to stay."
As tears welled up in my eyes, I cleared my throat and spoke into the mouth piece.

"Let me hear her voice. I... want to speak with her."

There was some muffled sounds coming from the ear piece, as the speaker moved. There was a head aching silence just before a beautiful voice filled my ears.

"Hello? Are you there?" I stared at the two boys and the girl in front of me, who were staring back at me, their eyes wide.

"Are you okay?" I was crying now, and I nearly let a smile shape my mouth. "ChildNumber3, so glad to hear your voi--"

"Don't you ever call me that." Her voice was sharp, and edgy. I felt a cold chill run through me, and the children were stone still, more anxious than ever.

"Where are you?"

"I don't know."

"What are you doing there?"

"Nothing."

"Who is the boy?"

"I won't say."

"Can you tell me anything of consequence?" I was afraid now, I could swear I was shaking. She was always different to her siblings, she was always secretive. And she was always doing something I didn't want to see, or she didn't want me to see. It usually worked. I knew it.

There was silence for a moment while I contemplated her behaviour, and then I heard her again.

"I have a name now. I have a family, too. I like plants. My favourite colour is red. Is that of consequence?"

"I beg your pardon!" I cried, in sudden anger. I felt so twisted that I couldn't quite understand her outrageous accusation. "We are your family! And you have always had a name! What is this? Why are you doing this!" She was silent. I couldn't stop myself, I had fed her and housed her and clothed her, and yet she was so secretive and never spoke to me voluntarily. She was like a cat in the early morning shadows, slipping past you so often, she was invisible to us. I loved her so much, and yet she runs from me like I was nothing to her. She was so much like him.

"You are homeless now. I truly wish you realise that, so you know that you are alone out there--"

"Mother! How could you!" Child Number 1 had jumped to his feet, and was standing over me, shock swelling in his eyes.

"She has left us! I have to say this!" I screamed back at him. He shrank back down next to his younger siblings. I listened for her reply.

"Goodbye" said a deep male voice. Then there was the beep. I regretted my choice of words insantly.

I just wrote that there off the top of my head, so obviously it is not good. Just an idea.
Now my painting idea I was to just write down somewhere official is a circle of glass or ice on the floor of a city street. A creature underneath the glass is frozen. People walk upon it going about there daily lives. I just thought it was cool. Will paint one day.
I have a few commissions that I will put up here in WiP progress, like the tiger one.

Other than that, goodnight. May swift and gentle dreams see you till the sun rises.
